1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website and utilizing the mobile mechanical services provided by Pro Tune Mobile Mechanic ("we," "our," "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Mobile Mechanic Services
We provide mobile automotive repair and maintenance services. The specific services requested, along with an itemized quote, will be provided prior to the commencement of any physical work on your vehicle. You acknowledge that certain complex repairs may not be feasible in a mobile, roadside, or driveway setting and may require towing to a standardized facility, at your expense unless otherwise organized.
3. Call-Out Fees & Estimates
- Estimates: We strive to provide accurate itemized quotes. However, hidden damage or deeper mechanical issues may not be apparent until disassembly begins. In such cases, a revised estimate will be provided for your approval before proceeding.
- No Call-Out Fee Policy: Our "No Call-Out Fee" policy applies exclusively when you
accept the provided quote and authorize us to proceed with the repair or service immediately. If you
request us to travel to your location solely for diagnostics and decide not to proceed with the
repair through us at that time, a standard diagnostic/call-out fee will apply to cover our time and
travel expenses.
* There is no call-out fee if you are a current customer of Pro Tune.
4. Payment Terms
Payment is due immediately upon the completion of services. We accept major credit cards and digital payments as processed by our technicians on-site. The vehicle will not be released back into your custody, and keys will not be returned, until full payment has been secured.
5. Warranty on Workmanship & Parts
We provide a limited warranty on our workmanship and the new parts we supply and install. This warranty guarantees that the parts are free from defects and that our installation meets professional industry standards. The duration of this warranty is typically 12 months or 20,000 kilometers, whichever comes first, unless explicitly stated otherwise on your invoice. Warranty claims are invalid if the vehicle is subsequently repaired by a third party, used for racing, severely neglected, or if the failure is unrelated to our specific repair.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Pro Tune Mobile Mechanic shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, towing fees, rental car fees, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of our services or any delay in providing those services.
7. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes relating to these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
